The Last of London!

So on our final day of fall break we decided to make the most of it and we started the day at King's Cross Station and made a stop at a very important platform. Platform 9 3/4 to be exact!

And what better way to see London than a view from the top on the London Eye!

After the London Eye we parted ways and half of us saw Abbey Road, while the other half went to Harrods, and with some pounds left I couldn't resist seeing Harrods! To be perfectly honest I hadn't heard of Harrods until my roommate told me about it, but its essentially the biggest and best department store ever! So we spend the rest of the afternoon trying to see as much of Harrods as possible which was crazy seeing as there were 7 floors, more departments than you could count, and an actual map to help you get around!

We spent way too much time in their chocolate and sweets department and then grabbed a bite to eat in their food court filled with restaurants and food from all corners of the world and it was the best! After lunch we headed to their Christmas department which was the most impressive I have ever seen!

After an afternoon in Harrods we left London and headed home to Florence to finish an amazing and unforgettable fall break!
